New Necklace

This is one of my new creations. Perfect for the upcoming Fall season. Of course, if you set your own fashion rules like I do, you wear whatever you want whenever you want.

Earrings by request

A friend asked me to put up some earrings. Being the obedient person that I am and always quick to please my friends, here are some I thought you might enjoy looking at. Tell me what you think.

Caring for your silver jewelry

Sterling silver will oxidize or "turn" color if you keep it sitting in your jewelry box or on your dresser. To properly care for your jewelry, I always recommend you put any pieces that contain sterling silver in a little ziploc bag. Put your piece inside the bag, take out any excess air; as that is what makes the silver oxidize, and close it securely.

I include, in all my jewelry sales, a specially treated anti-tarnish strip that will help in keeping your silver shining like new but only if you keep it in the ziploc bag like you are supposed to do. Of course, there are also polishing cloths that will help you in maintaining your jewelry looking like the day you first bought it. At the right you can see what the anti-tarnish squares look like. Rather plain looking, I know, but they really work.

Those are the kinds of strips I put in my jewelry trays where I keep all my pieces ready for shows.

Last but not least...

This was the third and last piece I made today. My dear friend wanted to see them so I'm posting them before going to bed. I am a little worn out. I really enjoyed making the pieces. This one is so very pretty. I'm not much of a photographer so I just put this up. I do have a photo tent/box but was too lazy to take it out today. Let me know what you think of this one.

I also made this one today. I don't have a name for it yet. It is made of Swarovski crystal pearls in burgundy and sterling silver daisy spacers and balls. Inset shows toggle closure in detail.

What do you think?

I made this today. It is Peridot with Swarovski bicones and sterling silver balls. The pendant is cloisonne heart. I added a Swarovski Aurora Borealis crystal drop for even more sparkly bling. As always, you can click on the picture for closeup detail.
